Police investigate after man assaulted by 2 others in Victoria Park in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police say an investigation is underway into an attack on Victoria Park in Kitchener on Wednesday.
Police said officers were called to downtown Kitchener, near Gaukel and King streets, after a man was reported to have been injured.
They say the officers began investigating and found that the 33-year-old man had been attacked by two men in the nearby park.
Police say the victim was taken to hospital by paramedics for treatment for serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
