Police seek identity of motorcyclist allegedly dodging the Burlington-Hamilton traffic stop

Halton Police are looking for a motorcyclist accused of evading a cop at high speed during a traffic stop in Burlington, Ontario.
Investigators have been searching for the operator for nearly three weeks in connection with a “proactive patrol” in the Millcroft area following recent traffic complaints.
Police say the speeding motorcycle failed to stop for an officer around 3 p.m. on Aug. 10 after it reportedly swung back and forth and failed to stop at a stop sign near Sarazen Drive and Couples Crescent.
“The officer tried to stop the motorcycle, but the driver drove off at high speed and fled the area,” Halton police said in a press release.
The motorcycle is described as a black sports bike with Ontario registration.
The driver of the motorcycle described is a man between 20-35 years of age, of average height with a stocky build.
He was wearing a black helmet, black T-shirt and blue jeans.
Anyone with information can contact Halton Police or Crime Stoppers.
