Winnipeg Babysitter Accidentally Shot While Taking Loaded Gun From Toddler – Winnipeg

A teen nanny was taken to hospital in Winnipeg on Saturday morning with a gunshot wound from an accidental shooting.
Winnipeg police said the incident took place at a Seven Oaks apartment, where a toddler found a loaded gun and ran through the suite with it.
While the gun was being taken from the child, it accidentally went off and hit the babysitter.
Police say an adult was sleeping in the suite when the shooting happened by accident.
Police arrested a 20-year-old woman at the scene for possessing a loaded, prohibited firearm, storing a firearm in violation of regulations, and carrying a concealed weapon, prohibited device or ammunition.
